A personal site, a new plugin, and live-blogging
OK, then. I will also be posting to a personal blog that I just set up, called 5fingerpie. Feel free to stop in. Mind you, I am not going to be neglecting Apogeevr. But a lot of times I like to yak about stuff that would be off-topic if I posted it here. Hence, my new site. Go have a looksy! (There’s only one post so far, so right now it’s kind of lame.)
Also, I just added a new plugin to Apogeevr for incoming links (there it is in the sidebar). Right now, it may be making the site look a little quirky, such as by breaking the layout if you’re using Internet Explorer. The culprit is the top link (which is ironically from my new site). I’m hoping the official link title “5fingerpie” kicks in soon so that the consecutive characters will be broken up, thereby clearing up the problem. I’ve noticed that the page also takes a bit longer to download at times. Don’t like that. If I keep experiencing these types of problems, then I’ll just deactivate the damn plugin. We’ll see what happens.
I also wanted to mention that I plan to live-blog the Sex in Video Games Conference, where I’ll be on one of the panels. I also plan to attend most of the lectures and moderated discussions. I don’t expect I’ll be blogging the event from a newsy angle. I’ll merely be blogging my experiences and observations. I plan on taking notes through a lot of it, so some of the posts may include some really informative tidbits.
And shit, I’ve yet to book my flight!
Update: I nixed the incoming links plugin. ‘Twas getting on my nerves.

Good to hear you’re liveblogging the conference! I’ll definitely be watching that since I won’t be able to be there now.
Bummer! Oh well, I expect at some point we’ll be able to meet.
Yeah, with the live-blogging, I just hope I could resist the temptation of making every post about Violet Blue. ^-^

Alas, the legend is moving to SF for work, which collides exactly with the conference.
You all will have to bask in my greatness at a later date.
Lucky for you, my greatness only increases with time, so you may even get to worship at my feet by that point.

qDot: You’d better hurry up then and come to LV because my own greatness is increasing as we speak, although I do admit that I have a long ways to go before catching up to your level of greatness. Then again, Bonnie and I combined may be able to cancel yours out. Or something like that…
Hmm, I’ve recently been reminded just how hard it is to live blog and take notes/conduct interviews for a professional article on the thing you’re supposed to be live blogging. Well, some manner of blogging will take place. Of that you can be sure!
