Evil minds
Gawd, I discovered some really debauched BDSM equipment tonight in Second Life. Yeah, that’s right. I’m on a freakin’ BDSM kick.
Anyway, I hope to be in touch with the owners of the establishments tomorrow so I can post several interesting pictures, along with some commentary. I mean, you gotta see these devices I came across! A couple are really not for the faint of heart. There are some devious minds out there in them thar virtual hills. And I like that.
It really surprises me that many of these dungeons are so underused. It seems every time I walk into one, it’s empty. I would think these places would be mobbed. I guess the vast majority of Second Life residents who are inclined toward BDSM are indulging in pleasure, pain, bondage, humiliation and other fetishes in places that are more discreet that I don’t know about. Or maybe there’s only a relative minority of residents who have the same affinity for punishment as I do. Or perhaps most who are living the lifestyle are instead equipping their homes with all sorts of Medieval contraptions. Who knows?
Oh, by the way, I’m trying to put together sort of a guide to sex and BDSM animations and establishments in Second Life that residents can use for free. I think there may be a good number of SL’ers out there — particularly the newbies — who would like to know where to go when they feel like experimenting with simulated sex, but they haven’t yet acquired the cash or made the contacts that would allow them to get into some of the more exclusive places. Know what I’m saying?
For example, I’d like to include establishments where there are some fun poseballs for users to try, as well as places where they could get down and dirty without paying. I also want to compile a guide to some cool adult clubs and BDSM establishments that charge a fee.
